Speaking Speed: A teacher should speak at a pace that best suits the student’s learning. This may require the teacher to speed up or slow down.
Vocabulary: Start off with simpler words and gradually try more difficult words until the right difficulty is determined for the student. Begin on the easier side.
Sentence Length: Start off on the simple side (short but with correct grammar).
Incidental Language: Extra tidbits of language used by teachers (outside of learning goals) should be used sparingly for lower levels but gradually become more present for higher levels.
